Flint: MI Coach and two jailed two players suspended from football team. Michigan law allows students jailed for an offense to be temporarily released from confinement to attend school and school related activities. Last week two jailed students from Flint Southwestern Academy were allowed to play on the school's football team raising concerns about the school's own guidelines regarding acceptable behavior of its students. A week later school authorities have taken action by suspending the players from playing football for the rest of the season, and suspending the team's coach indefinitely.
