I think its neat and interesting on finding out the things you are doing.Ive always enjoyed that kind of stuff.I myself personally aint from michigan originally,my late husband was so thats how I came out here,I am from the mass/rhode island area and the history that i am most familiar with is the lizzie borden case as i am from that city, also if any of you like to read see if you come across the book mortal remains as thats from my city also.Believe me Im not proud of it and by any means would ever go back there but its where I grew up.

Hi Annie,
I'm sure there are history connections of Michigan that are associated with Mass. The early pioneers of this state all came from the eastern states. At one time this was the called the Far West of the USA. That was only a couple of hundred years ago!
Time sure flies. <smile>

Remember the last line of U of M's Victors, "Hail, hail to Michigan the champions of the west."
