Reference: Michigan Newswire www.michigan.gov/nwlb/Governor Granholm officially launched the No Worker Left Behind program that she called for in her 2007 state of Michigan address. The program's primary goal is to prepare individuals for highly skill jobs through educational grants, such as $4,000 Michigan Promise scholarship for students to attend college, and assistance to workers in need of training required to obtain a skilled job. The program will be funded by redirecting federal money presently spent on job training.
