Members of the Michigan House Committee voted 12 to 4 in favor of proposal that would would eliminate smoking in all state businesses, including taverns and restaurants. Lansing State Journal: www.livingstondaily.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070725/NEWS01/707250326Thoughts to ponder: If the majority of Americans consider smoking pollution such a terrible menace to the health of the public: 1. Shouldn't smoking be made illegal? 2. Shouldn't greater effort be made to eliminate pollution from automobiles and factories? 3. Shouldn't alchohol, another healthcare concern and threat to the public safety, be targetted as well?
